Orders & Production
Is KAUREUM jewelry made to order?
Many KAUREUM pieces are crafted to order, allowing us to create your jewelry specifically for you rather than mass-producing inventory. Production details and estimated timelines can be found on each product page.
How long will my order take to make?
Production times vary depending on the piece, material, personalization, and complexity of the design. Please refer to the individual product page for the most accurate production estimate.
Once your piece is complete, you'll receive tracking information when your order ships.
Can I make changes to my order after it has been placed?
If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. We'll always do our best to accommodate your request, but changes cannot be guaranteed once production has begun.
Can I cancel my order?
Because many of our pieces are made or personalized specifically for you, cancellations may not be possible once production has begun.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need assistance with an order.
How can I check the status of my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information.
If your piece is still within its stated production window, it's likely still being crafted. For additional assistance, please contact us with your order number.
Materials & Jewelry
What is the difference between Fine Jewelry and Demi-Fine?
Our Fine Jewelry is crafted from precious materials such as solid gold and precious gemstones and is designed with longevity and heirloom wear in mind.
Our Demi-Fine Jewelry offers a more accessible way to experience KAUREUM, using carefully selected materials while maintaining the same design philosophy and attention to detail.
Material specifications are always listed on the individual product page so you know exactly what you're purchasing.
Is your gold solid gold?
Pieces described as 10K, 14K, 18K, or 24K gold are solid gold unless otherwise specified on the product page.
Our Demi-Fine pieces may use different materials or finishes, which will always be clearly disclosed in the product description.
What is the difference between 10K, 14K, 18K, and 24K gold?
The karat indicates the proportion of pure gold in the alloy.
10K offers excellent durability and a subtler gold tone.
14K balances durability, rich color, and everyday wearability.
18K contains a higher percentage of pure gold, giving it a richer gold color.
24K is pure gold and has a distinctly rich, warm color and cultural significance in many heirloom traditions.
The best choice depends on the piece, how you plan to wear it, and your personal preference.
What materials are used in each piece?
Because our collections span Fine Jewelry, Demi-Fine, and 24K heirlooms, materials vary by design.
You'll find the exact metal, gemstone, diamond, and other material specifications on each individual product page.
Do you use natural or lab-grown diamonds?
We work with both natural and lab-grown diamonds, depending on the design. The type of diamond used is clearly specified on each individual product listing so you always know exactly what you're purchasing.
Can I wear my KAUREUM jewelry every day?
Many KAUREUM pieces are designed with everyday wear in mind, particularly our solid-gold jewelry.
However, all fine jewelry should be treated with care. Wearability can vary depending on the design, gemstones, setting, and material.
We recommend removing jewelry during activities that may expose it to unnecessary impact, chemicals, or abrasion.
Is KAUREUM jewelry waterproof?
Solid gold itself will not tarnish from water, but we still recommend treating your jewelry with care. Gemstones, finishes, plated or demi-fine materials, and certain design elements may require additional precautions.
Always follow the care recommendations for your specific piece.
Personalized & Custom Jewelry
Can KAUREUM jewelry be personalized?
Yes. Many of our pieces can be personalized through engraving, initials, dates, birth flowers, gemstones, and other meaningful details.
Available personalization options are shown on each product page.
Do you offer engraving?
Yes, engraving is available on select designs.
Available options vary by piece and may include initials, names, dates, numbers, symbols, or other personalization.
Do you create custom jewelry?
Yes. KAUREUM offers custom and bespoke jewelry for clients looking to create something uniquely their own.
Whether you're reimagining an existing idea, commemorating a meaningful moment, or creating a future heirloom from the beginning, we'll work with you to develop the piece.

How does the custom design process work?
The custom process begins with your idea. From there, we'll discuss your design direction, materials, dimensions, stones, personalization, budget, and other important details.
Depending on the project, the process may include design development, digital renderings or CAD, revisions, production, finishing, and final quality inspection.
Because every project is different, timelines and pricing are provided according to the individual design.
Can you work with an heirloom stone or existing piece of jewelry?
Projects involving heirloom jewelry, customer-supplied stones, or existing materials are considered on an individual basis through our Custom & Bespoke service.
Because every heirloom and project is unique, we'll first need to evaluate the materials and discuss what may be possible for your piece.

Sizing
How do I find my ring size?
For the most accurate fit, we recommend having your finger professionally sized by a jeweler whenever possible.
Keep in mind that finger size can fluctuate throughout the day and wider bands may fit differently than narrow bands.

What necklace length should I choose?
The ideal chain length depends on your neckline, layering preferences, and where you'd like the pendant to sit.
Our product pages include available chain lengths, and select designs include on-body imagery or measurements to help you visualize scale and placement.
Can my ring be resized?
Resizing depends on the design, metal, stones, engraving, and construction of the individual ring.
Contact us with your order number or the piece you're considering, and we'll let you know what options are available.
Can a chain be shortened or lengthened?
In many cases, yes. Options depend on the chain style and construction.
Contact us and we'll be happy to advise you on your specific piece.

Jewelry Care, Repairs & Warranty
How should I care for my KAUREUM jewelry?
Store your jewelry separately in a clean, dry place when you're not wearing it. Avoid unnecessary contact with harsh chemicals, household cleaners, chlorine, perfumes, lotions, and abrasive surfaces.
Care requirements vary by metal, gemstone, and finish.
Does KAUREUM offer repairs?
We stand behind the craftsmanship of every KAUREUM piece.
If your jewelry arrives with a manufacturing defect or a defect becomes apparent within 7 days of delivery, please contact us so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Our 7-day coverage is intended for manufacturing defects and workmanship issues only. It does not cover changes of mind, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, improper care, or damage caused after delivery.
Please contact us with your order number, photographs of the piece, and a description of the issue so we can determine the appropriate resolution.
What if there is something wrong with my jewelry when I receive it?
Please contact us as soon as possible. If the issue is the result of a manufacturing defect, we'll evaluate the piece and determine the appropriate repair or resolution.
Defective-item claims must be brought to our attention within 7 days of delivery.
What if I change my mind about the design, size, or personalization?
Our 7-day defect coverage is not a satisfaction or change-of-mind guarantee.
Made-to-order, personalized, engraved, custom, and other specially produced pieces may also be subject to different return or exchange eligibility. Please review the applicable product details and our Return Policy before placing your order.
Do you offer repairs after 7 days?
Yes. If your KAUREUM piece needs attention outside the 7-day defect period, please contact us with your order number, photographs of the jewelry, and a description of the issue.
We'll evaluate the piece and let you know what repair options may be available. Repair fees may apply depending on the nature of the work required.
What happens if my chain breaks?
Contact us with your order information and photographs of the chain. We'll assess the damage and determine whether repair or replacement is the best option.
Can you replace a lost earring?
Replacement options may be available for select designs. Because stones, materials, and production can vary over time, an exact match cannot always be guaranteed.
Contact us with the details of your original purchase and we'll let you know what's possible.
